Fresh from its GT3‑Am victory at the Michelin 24H Dubai in January, the UAE‑based team took its #69 Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo II to Europe, continuing its successful partnership with Simpson Motorsport.
Five Rounds Across Europe
The European journey took the team from Mugello in March to Spa‑Francorchamps in April, Paul Ricard in June, the Nürburgring in July, and the 24 Hours of Barcelona in September.
Vasily Vladykin and Paul Scheuschner competed in all five rounds, with Miguel María García joining the team from Round 2 onwards. The line‑up was also joined by Alex Aka, Florian Scholze, Akhil Agarwal, and Hugo Cook at various rounds throughout the season.
Season Highlights
Continental Racing kicked off its European campaign in impressive style at Mugello, securing P4 overall and P2 in GT3‑Am, finishing just over 30 seconds behind the class winner.
After a challenging weekend at Spa‑Francorchamps, where the team was forced to retire early, the #69 Audi bounced back at Paul Ricard with P9 overall and P4 in class.
Another highlight came at the Nürburgring, hosting its first‑ever Michelin 24H Series race. Strong driving and consistent pace earned the team P5 overall and P3 in GT3‑Am, marking its second European podium of the season.
The season concluded at the 24 Hours of Barcelona, where an early accident unfortunately ended the team’s race prematurely.
Across five demanding rounds, Continental Racing demonstrated competitive pace, resilience, and the ability to challenge for podiums against some of Europe’s strongest GT3 competitors.
Looking Ahead
Building on its Dubai victory and two European podium finishes, Continental Racing continues to strengthen its position in international endurance racing.
The 2026 European season brought valuable experience, memorable battles, and plenty of motivation for the challenges ahead.
